Notifications on Yac
Managing your notifications in Yac is a good step towards an Asynchronous workflow! Everyone prefers something a little different to help keep the balance between staying engaged with their team and making space for personal deep work.
To change when you get banners, badges, or a notification sound.
On macOS or iOS
System preferences → notifications → Yac
- Open System preferences.
- Click the “Notifications” icon.
- Scroll to the Yac icon.
Click “Yac.”
From here, you can adjust settings for banners, sounds, and badges!

On Windows,
Click the Start button → Settings → System → Notifications
Find the “Yac” icon in the list and click it!
To change your email and emoji reaction notifications
On mobile, click the gear icon at the top left of the app.
On desktop, click your profile icon and then click “preferences” at the bottom of the list.
Towards the bottom, you’ll see options to change your notification sound, email preferences, and reaction notifications.
Now, you can adjust your notifications to suit your Async style!
