Yac 1-on-1s are a container for a simple two person voice-message conversation.

It’s where you can collaborate with a client, someone outside of your company, or anyone you want to connect with without scheduling a meeting.

Examples of meetings you can hold in a 1-on-1:

  • Feedback meetings with individual contributors.
  • Networking meetings / intros.
  • Working with a client or student over time.
  • Troubleshooting with someone from another department.

Create a 1-on-1 with one of your contacts

  1. Click “New Conversation” at the bottom center of the screen.
  2. Select the contact you’d like to start a 1-on-1 with.
  3. Press either “Record audio” or “record screen.”
  4. Stop recording, add a title and send the Yac.

This message will now be found under the “1-on-1s” tab at the top right of your screen, along with your other 1-on-1s.

Add a new contact for a 1-on-1

  1. Click “New Conversation” at the bottom center of the screen.
  2. Click “New Contact” and enter your contact’s email.
  3. Click “Send Invite”
  4. Follow the set of steps above this one.

And with that, you’re ready to start a 1-on-1 Yac conversation with your clients or anyone you’re connecting with asynchronously.
