How to Send a Screen Share

Sending a screen share message is simple. You can send a single message directly to one or multiple options below.

1. With one other user (1-on-1)
2. Message to a Discussion
3. Send to email
4. Sharable Link
5. Voice Memos

1. Click “New Conversation” button on the bottom of the screen.
2. Select who you’d like to send a Yac to. You can choose individuals, Discussions, or record to a shareable link.
3. Once you’ve selected who you’re sending to, press “Record Screen”
4. If you choose to record your screen, select which window you would like to record.
5. When you’d like to end your message, press “Stop recording”
6. Add your Yac’s title and any necessary links and then click “Send Yac.”

Screen sharing on mobile is not currently possible. However, you can send video using your front or back-facing camera. Here's how:

1. Click “New Conversation” button on the bottom of the screen.
2. Select who you’d like to send a Yac to. You can choose individuals, Discussions, or record to a shareable link.
3. Once you’ve selected who you’re sending to, press the camera icon at the bottom left.‍
4. Flip the camera as needed.
5. When you’d like to end your message, press “Stop recording”‍
6. Add your Yac’s title and any necessary links and then click “Send Yac.”
