Let's walk through Log New Yac Updates to a Google Sheet by connecting Zapier to Yac and Google Sheets.
Once you click "Make a Zap," you can name your Zap.
Search for Yac and click on Yac.
Once the trigger event is presented, you can click "Continue."
Sign into Yac and choose your account before clicking "Continue."
Choose a person or discussion from the list so that whenever the person messages, an action happens. You can also search if you can't find what you're looking for right away. Click "Continue."
Now you can test the trigger, and Zapier will pull the latest message from the person or channel you chose to make sure it's exactly what you want. Verify message and click "Continue" to move onto choosing an action.
Find Google Sheets and choose an action such as "Create Spreadsheet Row" Click "Continue."
Sign into Google Sheets and grant permission for limited access to your account and when you are redirected back to Zapier, choose your account from the list.
NOTE: If you haven't already, you will need to create a Google Spreadsheet that includes headings. Look at our example below to see what ours looks like.
Now you can set up your action with whatever settings you'd like. After, you can test the task. Once the test is verified, you can turn the Zap on to start using.
