Why do I get an Invalid Call Forwarding Number message when I submit a number for Call Forwarding?

The Invalid Call Forwarding Number message will appear when:

  • A phone number submitted for Call Forwarding is not valid for use with the YAC Service. YAC does not support Call Forwarding to certain premium rate numbers (e.g. 0906 numbers), other personal numbering services, satellite phone numbers, some paging numbers, the emergency services or other YAC Numbers™.
  • The Call Forwarding number is in a country to which YAC does not forward calls. Click here to see the list of countries to which we can forward your calls.
  • The format of your Call Forwarding phone numbers is incorrect. Calls that are to be redirected to an international number must include the UK dialling code to access the international line (00), followed by the country code (e.g. French country code is 33), then the area code, and the number.
